    Default NetworkManager - TKIP missing

    Hello all
    I am using a Dell d631 with a Broadcom BCM4328 802.11 a/b/g/n.

    Before I upgraded to suse 11.0, I used suse 10.3 - under suse 10.3 the wireless card worked fine. Which means that when I used the NetworkManager in opensuse 10.3, I was able to choose the wireless security (I use WPA Personal) and choose the security type (I use TKIP).

    However when I try use the NetworkManager in opensuse 11.0, the NetworkManager will only allow me to choose the wireless security - and not the security type (where I would choose TKIP).

    <Actual Question>
    When using NetworkManager in opensuse 11.0, how do you configure the wireless card to use TKIP - when using WPA Personal?

    Thanks, however that did not work. When I selected "Expert" there was not an option of selecting TKIP.

    Is it normal that I do not an option for TKIP?

    Thanks

    strange, maybe the driver you installed doesn't support TKIP. This is what i see under "expert"

    Wow! I do not see that at all

    Are you using Gnome or KDE? I am using Gnome - would that make a difference either way?

    Thanks
