I am new to OpenSuse 11. I made an installation of Amarok but I have no equalizer. The menu item is disabled.
What should I do to have it back?

Settings, Configure Amarok, Engine.
Set the engine to xine.
If that disables MP3 playback, install Amarok from the Packman repository.

Where did you do the install from?
What Engine are you using?
You might try installing Amarok and amarok-xine from the Packman
repo instead.

OK,
I had to install Amarok from Pacman and then I was able to switch to the Xine engine. With this engine, I have the Equalizer.
