Default openSUSE 11 + Bordermanager 3.8, how to set up VPN connection?

    hi all,

running opensuse 11, I was wondering if anyone managed to establish a Client2Site VPN against a BM 3.8 server? How would I best do that, what extra SW is needed and how to set up the BM server (which accepts only compatible and NMAS mode connections right now. Would the VPN client for BM3.9/SLED10 be helpful? Any ideas?

    Cheers, lothar

    Hi,
I hope you get an answer because I would like to do exactly the same thing with one exception. Our BM server is 3.9.

    Thanks.

you can not with 3.8 but you can with 3.9

follow tid 3600989 or novell bordermanager 3.9 documentation which
explain about the vpn client. Officially is only support it in SLED but
i've got it working with no issues in opensuse 10.3
