    Default Setup Knetworkmanager

    How can I setup the KnetworkManager to load automatically at boot time?

    Don't really know -- don't use it - so this is a drive by thought: check that network manager is activated in preference to ifup in Yast --> Network Devices --> Network settings --> global options

    The default is to save the session on exit, so when you have it running and logout, it shoulod be restarted next time.

    KDE3 or 4?

    As far as I remember, swerdna is right. in the "global options" tab you can choose between networkmanager and ifup.
    In openSUSE 10.3's Knetworkmanager 0.2 there was an "autostart on login" option. Unfortunately I can't see this option in version 0.7 on KDE 3.5

    ok, found something: in your home directory edit this file .kde/share/config/knetworkmanagerrc.
    add the following below your connections:
    Code:
    [General]
    Autostart=yes
    did it work?
