chan_misdn.so disappears after update from repository

Hello,
I’ve used Asterisk about 7 Month without any problem under openSuSE 10.3 with repository from “ftp://ftp-1.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/network:/telephony/openSUSE_10.3” and an AVM Fritz!Card PCI V2.0 whith mISDN drivers and the AVM capi.
On the 15th of June I updated to the newest Version. Later this day I recognised ISDN isn’t working anymore. Asterisk tells that he don’t know the misdn channel any more and the logs tells “loader.c: Error loading module ‘chan_misdn.so’: /usr/lib64/asterisk/modules/chan_misdn.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory”
After more than two weeks and many updates to the Asterisk repository the problem still exists.
To verify the AVM card I’ve bought a card with the hfc chipset but ISDN still isn’t working.
Can someone help me ?
Thanks
Werner

Indeed it seems to be missing.

However this package is maintained by vittorio@vitsoft.bz - so you should mail him and ask whether it’s a mishap or an intended feature.

Unfortunately mISDN is still not part of the mainline kernel, so it has
to be updated separately for each new kernel release. The maintainers
of that repository has probably not gotten around to doing that yet.

Vittorio has solved the problem yesterday evening.
My Asterisk is now working again.
Thanks for helping
