Upgrade KDE?

Im kinda new to Linux tried ubuntu some, its ok but now i wanna try opensuse 11 i hear good things about it and i like how it looks. my question is would it be hard to update KDE 4.0 to 4.1 if i get opensuse 11 right now? I hear that KDE is going to release there new version 4.1 this month and opensuse 11 comes with v4.0, i dont want to wait for opensuse 11.1 i want to try it now. so is it hard to update KDE?

That is a little unnecessary, both comments. You could point the OP in
the right direction without having an attitude. Acting like this is a
great way to show a new user what or community is all about.

Thread moved to Install/Boot forum.

This is GNU/Linux. It’s about documenting stuff. And about empowerment to find and understand the solution from the same.

I did not write “RTFM and STFU” (w/ f**king) but “RTFM and here are all the links that might be relevant” (w/ fine).

It’s also about community and helping others when they needed it. Otherwise forums, mailing lists, wiki’s and NNTP/Usenet would not be needed.

It could have been put in a better way is all I’m saying. Check out posts by Oldcpu…those are the type of helping posts I think of when pointing people to documentation.

Agreed. The culture here is to encourage folks to ask for help, and be tolerant when they don’t ask for it quite like some might prefer.
