I remember a post a while back about someone wanting the SourceForge.net: Really Slick XScreenSavers ported. Well, except to make it work under KDE it is a pretty standard configure->make->install, and they are truly great screensavers. Grab the source if you want to try. rs-Skyrocket is awesome!

I created the desktop files to make it work with KDE openSUSE 10.3 (and most likely 11.0 if using kde3) http://pseudoreality.net/pub/rs-kde.tar.bz2

Code:
Make sure you have kdeartwork3-xscreensaver and openal-devel installed.

Build the rs-screensavers:
$ ./configure --with-hackdir=/usr/lib/xscreensaver --with-configdir=/etc/xscreensaver
$ make
  <switch to root>
# make install

Copy the .desktop files to:
/opt/kde3/share/applnk/System/ScreenSavers
