boot Opensuse11 live cd on external monitor

Hi,
My LCD of my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop broke. I am using an external CRT monitor. Works fine with my current Mandriva 2008 setup. I use the function key + F8 to switch from lcd output to CRT output. No problems there.

How can I boot OpenSuse 11 and force the output on my CRT?
Can anybody help me on this? Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

DJ

The general rule of thumb is that your laptop needs to support that kind of setting in your BIOS because during the initial bootstrap environment you have limited options.

There <may> be a solution modifying the display driver configuration during the install, but I haven’t seen it so if possible probably would require pre-loading a config file or modifying the installation media.
