Locking the Kernel, Launching a program with root privilige?
Hi, I'm new to opensuse. I want to lock the kernel at the version it is (i.e. don't want to update it)...how can I do that?
Also I want to launch a gui program with root privileges. Adding gksudo to launcher doesn't work...
Thnx.

Launch yast and do a search for your installed kernel, then right-click on it and select "do not modify".
