How to surpress screensaver in certain apps?
I would like to surpress screensaver and automatic monitor shutoff during Kaffeine. It is really boring to mess with the mouse or touchpad every few minutes while watching film.
Can it be done and how?
Thanks

hmmmmm...it _would_ be kinda nice (wouldn't it) if the screen saver
setup dialog allowed the user to identify a list of apps which should
preclude a screen saver start up..
until then you could (if you knew where the screen saver config file
lives) make a script which
1) turns off screen saver
2) launches Kaffeine
3) turns on screen saver (when Kaffeine is shutdown)

well, that is ok. I thought there was nicer solution.

you could ask the developers to add that as a feature..
it makes a lot of sense to me to be able to watch a movie without
hitting the mouse/keyboard every x minutes..
