Issues in suse 11?

There are many questions: First, where is the open suse official documentation?
There is only KDE documentation in the help centre.
Next, in 10.3 I configured my dsl connection with yast2 and launched the connection through network manager. Now there is no option for dialup connection in the network manager even after configuring the dsl modem. So I have to surf the net in ubuntu to ask questions about suse!
How to get the compiz effects? In 10.3 I configured the X server with yast2 following the guiadance given in the documentation (but now there is no documentation), and got my desktop effects. But here even after doing the same thing there are no effects but on the contrary the destop has slowed down.

Need help please .

As for compiz effects, use Kmenu - Applications - Utilities - Desktop.

Your other problem, sorry can’t help with that one.

Thank you very much for the link. I think that might solve most of my problems . If there is still some issue left I will post back.

I enable the desktop effects but after I restart my computer they are lost and I have to again enable and customize.
Need help with it. Why does it happen and how to avoid it?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This only happens in KDE and not in GNOME (even on my ubuntu 8.10 - KDE4.1). So I think this is some sort of bug.
