    Personally, I wouldn't look at a video tutorial. Bandwidth is a bit constrained and I don't see this as the way forwards. This is probably a minority view, though...

    Yes, the eye candy is the pull (for me), but right now I've gone back to kde 3.5 (and flirting occasionally with enlightenment) because I can't stand the various problems. At this point, the crashes are probably curable, but after various struggles and wastes of time getting this far I've run out of enthusiasm; maybe next week. The functionality problems are probably more difficult, but at the current rate of progress, maybe something like 4.3.2 will be marginally useable for an ordinary user.

    Mind you, when 4.1 was current, I thought that about 4.2, so what do I know?
