I want to use my LG L226W with the resolution of 1680x1050 with Suse 11.0 and (believe it or not) the brandnew Suse does not support this TFT. It is possible to configure the system without patching xwindows ?

Use Generic LCD 1680x1050, 16/10 and choose 22.1" or 22.2"
Thank you for the advice but I cannot change the resolution of the screen, it is only possible to change the display configuration. Any ideas ?
What for video card do you have? And do you have the drivers installed?
Nvidia has it’s own x server config.
