Connecting openSUSE using a Belkin USB wireless adapter

I have recently installed openSUSE 11 on my office computer and I am very happy with it. However I now want to connect the computer to my wireless router (which currently has 3 windows computers connected) so I can connect to the internet. I have a belkin 125 G and I have just bought another USB adapter to use in my office computer. I doubt it is as simple as sticking the cd in and installing the drivers so I wanted to ask the community for any help before beginning, just incase i screw anything up. I'll be honest from the get go this is my first ever linux experience and I am an absolute beginner, I also don't have a clue what I'm doing having only ever connected windows pc's to the internet.

have you had a read of the stickies at the start of the wireless section ? Belkin tend to change the chip-set of their devices as they feel, so post the make/model/revision number & also the output of this command ( done in a console ) /sbin/lspci -v
