    Default KDE 4.0 desktop issue

I installed Opensuse 11 with the KDE 4.0 desktop and I have encountered something I can't seem to figure out. The first time I logged in everything was where it should be, icons, start menu and that kind of thing. Then the next time I logged in the clock, and the panel showing the updater and volume control were clear to the right instead of in their customary place in the left corner. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

You didn't update your kde by any chance, did you? If not, you should be able to right click on everything on the panel and move them. You can always delete ~/.kde4 to get the default setup back. Kde4 saves on logout, rather than in real time, so if you're deleting the directory, log out of kde4 first, then select console login in the login screen.
