SUSE 11 IP ISSUES

I know I am missing something simple. After upgrading to 11 I am having a problem with IPs. The Router DCHP assigns an IP like 192.168.10.4 with subnet of 255.255.255.0. Normal…
In 10.3 had same IP and subnet
Now in 11 am getting something like 120.38.23.8 with a sub net of 255.255.255.255.

Do I have some security turned on? Anyone got any idea where I go to change this?

I am sure I am missing something simple and will be chagrinned by the answer.

Forgot… Router still says it is appling the 192 IP and shows that in the DCHP table as active

I’m pretty sure the 192.168.x.x range of IP addresses is internal to your home network.

In other words, that’s not the IP address being assigned by your ISP e.g. the one by which you could, say, SSH into your home computer.
