Default for how long will 10.3 be supported ?

Greetings to all, i've been using opensuse since 10.2 and i think it is by far the most user-friendly and complete distribution. However, i am so satisfied that i don't find the reason to upgrade, at least not until 11.1! Will the 10.3 continue to be supported (for example with security and recommended updates) and for how long ?
Furthermore, would we be so lucky to see the new version of Zypper implemented in 10.3 or are the differences in the technology so radical that it can't be done ? Thank you for your time.
