Please read the following thread about the current changes
hello .. i was installing opensuse 11 .. from live cd .. .. my monitor is 15 '' and supports VESA 1024 x 768 @ 60Hz.. on beginning of installation i set the resolution at 800x600 .. installation completes finely till the installation asks for reboot without live-cd .. i did dat ..after dat when i rebooted my pc ..i got simulteneous "out of range" on blank screen or message like "do not panic x11 is searchin .. ... after a quite lot of time my pc showed only "out of range" on a blank screen.... pls help..
i have done it myself.. but pls tell how to improve the resolution of my pc ... itz very poor in comparasion to my previous installation of opensuse 11 .. on this same pc..
i did that too... happy happy .. dat resolution made my life hell 4 2 days
What solved it? Runninga sax2?
