    Default screen resolution messed up

    Hi guys

I was installing SLED10, and during install, it detected my screen resolution is 1600x1200. But I guess it set the refresh rate to 75 and that didn't pass the test. So I had to reduce the resolution to 1280x1024 with refresh rate at 75.

My question is, how do I reduce to refresh rate to 60 and get a bigger resolution? (this setting works fine on windoz). Thanks in advance.

sax2 wont let me change the refresh rate. All the gui tool I used only has 1 refresh rate, which is 75. I guess the only way to do it is with xorg.conf?

What graphic card do you have? I don't know about ATI, but Nvidia ships a helpful configuration tool that could get the job done.
