I just installed 11.0 RC1. — I was pleasently pleased.
I used the update option to update a opensuse 10.2 sustem. ALMOST every thing went flawlessly.
The only “bump in the road” was trying to figure out how to handle the dependencies in yast. I finally let yast do what It wanted to do, and the install completed without any major problems.
Again only one problem: When the installer re-booted, the default in grub was the 10.2 system that I had just replaced, therefore it could not find the kernel. and grub failed. This was an easy fix.
Over all I am pleased with the opensuse 11.0 RC1 experience
