Thread: NNTP threads split

    Default NNTP threads split

    Hi,

First of all, thank you for all the hard work integrating NNTP into the web
forums. I think that move will make these great forums all the more
    popular.

While experimenting with NNTP, I notice that sometimes a thread on the web
interface will show up as multiple "Re:" threads in NNTP. Example:
the "Worst movie ever" thread in the soapbox sub-forum. In fact, I don't
think I can find the original post for that here using Knode.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Thanks,
    g

You're doing nothing wrong, it's a limitation of the NNTP gateway. When
a thread gets moved by staff, it breaks NNTP threading.

Thank you. I can understand that. I am just always curious.
