Default how to remove ESD from openSUSE?

    Hey, Guys

Does anyone know how can I remove ESD from openSUSE? I only use alsa and sometime I got some anonnying prompt showing fall back to ESD. I do not use it why system falls back to it. I really remove it so far.

    Thanks,

Because of the way the packaging patterns are set up in opensuse it would probably be difficult to do since ESD would keep getting pulled back in by deps with your installed software.

    Thanks,
If you switch to KDE, you won't need ESD. The Enlightened Sound Daemon is part of Gnome.
