Hi
There used to be a package called maxima (or macsima) to do symbolic
algebra.
This is not available anymore in the repositories. Does anybody know what
happened to it? (unsupported?).

Download // Maxima CAS

Looks like you can compile it from source, or get an RPM. Personally, I’d go the source route, myself.

Let us know how it works out. :slight_smile:

Maxima, wxMaxima, maxima-xmaxima…all located under Science in the repo.
