Default "How To Restart Sound After Hibernation?" Strikes Back

Hi everyone, I'm picking up again on the old thread "How To Restart Sound After Hibernation / Suspend To Disk? " (see How To Restart Sound After Hibernation / Suspend To Disk? - Page 2 - openSUSE Forums) ...

    oldcpu:
Thanks, as usual, for your help, this time with my dmesg output.

    (a) Sorry, but where did you see the snd_ac97_codec module in the output? I couldn't find it.

    (b)
    b. could you also be having an interrupt problem. (...) What interrupt is your sound card using?
To be honest, I have no clue what an interrupt is, nor which one my sound card is using. How do I find out?

I just upgraded to openSUSE 11 on the weekend, and now the sound seems to work after booting up again.

No idea why (which is frustrating ... ), but at least it works!

    Cheers,
