My mousepad does not work when I get in to gnome, but it works perfect during the login screen. Running with external mouse atm and that works. Anyone have any tips on how to get it to work again? I have a Dell M1330, if some one wounders, It did work before I did update the to the latest files from the automatic update system.
Have you checked the Sax2/xorg configuration to see whether it has been detected correctly? I assume you are talking about an ALPS or Synaptics trackpad. I would suggest making a backup of your xorg.conf before you make any changes.
