    Unhappy Envision Driver

Does anyone know where I can get a Linux (SUSE) driver for my Envision 7450 LCD Monitor? It works fine while loading, but as soon as the Xserver starts, the picture is lost. I have set the frequencies correctly in X86config, but this doesn't seem to help.

Try this; at the GRUB boot screen, enter a 3. This will boot you into a command line in run level 3. At that command line, logon as your user, then su (root). Type the following command then reboot.

    sax2 -m 0=vesa

By the way, I don't recall ever seeing vendor supplied Linux drivers for monitors. It is possible to import XP monitor drivers (.inf) on a diskette using sax2
