how to establish an ADSL link in opensuse11.1
Hi, all
As before, I used a wireless router to access Internet. I needn't to config the network cards because it could find the network automaticly.
When I change to use an ADSL modem, I could not find any dialer program to establish a link.
And more, I found once after I restarted the system, I found hard disk partition icons displayed on the desktop, and when I pluged a USB storage such as a flash disk, I could not find it, in anywhere!
I chose GNOME as desktop environment.
How to solve them? Thanks!

In the UK you simply take an ethernet cable from the modem to the ethernet port and everything else happens automatically. There is no dialer unless you are using mobile internet.

Some of the ADSL modems come with a USB interface rather than an Ethernet interface.

I use an enternet cable like between my computer and ADSL modem.
How can I establish the Internet link? I could not find any dialer programs.
