As the topic says, everytime i connected my laptop to my ac the lcd automatically dims. BTW i just installed openSUSE 11.1 on ASUS F8SG-4P03 laptop my video card is 9300M 256mb(Dedicated) and i think openSUSE used x11 . I already check power management and changed it and still it happens. Thanks
Weird, as it should be the other way around. Did you try disabling power management to see if the problem continue?
Yes i tried that also with a bit of googling also it and could not find any results :(
Sorry for double posting. I am dual booting and when i boot on Windows 7 with the AC connected there is n problem but with the openSUSE after booting to the desktop(GNOME or KDe4) the screen dims automatically. Any help would be appreciated thanks
