Totem Relaunches After Suspend (openSUSE 11.0)
On openSUSE 11.0, I'm getting an interesting problem with Totem. I have Totem associated (in Nautilus) with DVDs. That is, Totem will launch automatically if a video DVD is inserted into the drive. That part works fine.
The problem arises when I suspend (or presumably hibernate) the machine. If I close Totem before suspending, then suspend, the bring the machine out of suspend, Totem relaunches. So one of the first things I see after suspend is Totem waking up and starting to play (or try to play, depending on your codec situation) the video DVD.
This doesn't occur when leaving a video DVD in the drive and simply rebooting.
Any idea(s) on this problem? Thanks in advance.

sipples,
I think it's the autoplay feature that's causing this.
Try unmounting the DVD before suspending the machine.

Sure, it's the autoplay that's doing it. But why is it unique to suspend (and not reboot)?

As a partial workaround, I've changed my Nautilus settings to "ask" what to do, and that's slightly less annoying when the system comes out of suspend with a DVD in the drive.
