Sound issues on Google Chrome 26 / Chromium 27
openSUSE 12.2, using ALSA for sound. As of today i have received updates for Google Chrome to version 26. After restarting the browser i have noticed that i get choppy sound on pages like Mixcloud or Soudcloud. Flash content like the one from Youtube is also affected.
To check the situation i have installed Chromium 27 and to my surprise this browser is also affected.
Are there any other users like me in this situation?
If any openSUSE Chromium dev`s see this topic, can this issue be reported as a bug?
As a temporary solution for this, i have installed Chromium 26 and i have noticed that this browser is working fine on the pages mentioned at the start of the topic.
Re: Sound issues on Google Chrome 26 / Chromium 27
The bug was identified: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/i...tail?id=224046
Solution is to launch Google-chrome version 26 with option --audio-buffer-size=2048
I suspect that Chromium 27 would work as well with this option.
Can someone else test this ?
Re: Sound issues on Google Chrome 26 / Chromium 27
Good morning, back with feedback: on openSUSE 12.2 running pure ALSA and Google Chrome 26 it seems that adding that extra variable helped, no choppy sound on html of flash pages.
