    Upgrade your openSUSE release with kde 4.9



    Written for openSUSE 12.2

    This upgrade practice can be applied to earlier versions such as 12.1 - I'll show the repo code for 12.1 as well.

    If you have previously used other kde repos, you need to remove those.

    Add the New repo:

    For 12.2:
    Code:
    su -
zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/49/openSUSE_12.2/ kde49
    For 12.1:
    Code:
    su -
zypper ar -f http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/49/openSUSE_12.1/ kde49
    Code:
    zypper ref
    (a) to accept key - if you are asked

    Now we move to software management and switch to the new repo, like this:

    *(You may need to opt to keep obsolete k3b) which is from Packman
