View Full Version : LEAP 42.3 GUI blockiert, gnome-shell 100% CPU

Hi

coredumpctl list

tracker?
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1017652

Keine Coredumps:

ts@xenon:~> coredumpctl list
No coredumps found.

tracker daemon -t
cp /etc/xdg/autostart/tracker-* ~/.config/autostart/.
for FILE in ~/.config/autostart/tracker-*; do echo Hidden=true >> $FILE; done
rm -rf ~/.cache/tracker ~/.local/share/tracker

(gnome-shell:5019): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'gnome-shell' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
(Details: serial 1787 error_code 8 request_code 134 (SYNC) minor_code 16)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment
variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
gnome-session-binary[4624]: WARNING: Application 'org.gnome.Shell.desktop' killed by signal 5

DISPLAYMANAGER_XSERVER="Xorg"

2964 ? Sl 0:00 /usr/sbin/gdm
2979 tty7 Ss+ 0:00 \_ /usr/bin/Xorg :0 -background none -noreset -verbose -auth /run/gdm/auth-for-gdm-JPhPvQ/database -seat seat0 vt7
3155 ? Sl 0:00 \_ gdm-session-worker [pam/gdm-launch-environment]
3168 ? Ssl 0:00 \_ /usr/lib/gnome-session-binary --autostart /usr/share/gdm/greeter/autostart
3191 ? Sl 0:00 \_ /usr/lib/gnome-session-failed --allow-logout

On Leap 42.3 you may want to install the drm-kmp-default package again.

ts@xenon:~> cat /proc/cmdline
BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-4.4.114-42-default root=/dev/mapper/RAID-root resume=/dev/RAID/swap showopts splash=verbose nomodeset

3039 ? Sl 0:00 /usr/sbin/gdm
3047 tty7 Ss+ 0:00 \_ /usr/bin/Xorg :0 -background none -noreset -verbose -auth /run/gdm/auth-for-gdm-DsV8Gw/database -seat seat0 vt7

3229 ? Ssl 0:00 \_ /usr/lib/gnome-session-binary --autostart /usr/share/gdm/greeter/autostart
3254 ? Sl 0:00 \_ /usr/lib/gnome-session-failed --allow-logout

3039 ? Sl 0:00 /usr/sbin/gdm
5070 tty7 Ss+ 0:00 \_ /usr/bin/Xorg :0 -background none -noreset -verbose -auth /run/gdm/auth-for-gdm-JOKunI/database -seat seat0 vt7

5098 ? Ssl 0:00 \_ /usr/lib/gnome-session-binary --autostart /usr/share/gdm/greeter/autostart
5122 ? Sl 0:00 \_ /usr/lib/gnome-session-failed --allow-logout

2966 ? Sl 0:00 /usr/sbin/gdm
2986 tty7 Ss+ 0:02 \_ /usr/bin/Xorg :0 -background none -noreset -verbose -auth /run/gdm/auth-for-gdm-Y4vEsJ/database -seat seat0 vt7
3155 ? Sl 0:00 \_ gdm-session-worker [pam/gdm-launch-environment]
3167 ? Ssl 0:00 \_ /usr/lib/gnome-session-binary --autostart /usr/share/gdm/greeter/autostart
3192 ? Sl 0:00 \_ /usr/lib/gnome-settings-daemon-3.0/gnome-settings-daemon
3240 ? Sl 0:05 \_ gnome-shell --mode=gdm

cat ~/.xsession-errors

cat ~/.xsession-errors-:0

cat ~/.xsession-errors-:1
