Hi all,

I will be doing a presentation of openSUSE at the Phoenix Linux Users Group also trying to present at the ABLE conference for 2010 which s a business-oriented Free Software conference.

Thanks in advance,

Chuck

PS: Also, anyone know a contact at Novell to get a SLED/SLES presentation set up?
Last year at the ABLE conference they had a representative from Red Hat discussing the latest from them.

Let me ping one of the product team and point them at this thread.

Thanks!

It could be worth contacting Joe Brockmeier openSUSE Community Manager. On this forum he is jbrockmeier. You could send him a PM or maybe get other contact details from his public profile. I would think he's given a few presentations about openSUSE to user groups. ;)

Actually, Joe has moved on to other things - there was an announcement a
couple weeks ago. That job involved a lot of travel, which can be
difficult to do if you've got family waiting at home for you.

That's a pity, perhaps not for Joe.This is my first week back here for a while. Jim, Thanks for the update.

No problem - it was a bit of a shock for many of us, I think. Having
done the traveling lifestyle, though, I know how stressful it can be to
be away from home so much.

Drop me a PM with your e-mail address; I asked around inside Novell and
had a couple of SLE presentations sent to me that you might find useful.
You might also look into the "openSUSE Ambassadors" program - I'll let
you know what information I receive on that as well.
