I emailed Violations of the GNU Licenses - GNU Project - Free Software Foundation (FSF) about it. I'm sure they know, but hey, it's worth a shot.

If you want packages built, ask me. I'll either do it, or get someone else to. If they are not already built.

I hope their not afraid of Microsoft. Someone needs to stand up to them. I am sick of seeing Microsoft do stuff like this, and they get away with it. I may even email the DoJ (Department of Justice), and have them look at it.

Microsoft got the DoJ in their pockets already, abandon hope

You know, if Microsoft wouldn't be so Evil i wouldn't mind them share the code from other project but as they are known for bribing, unclean game, monopoly through preloaded systems etc. i would love to see them fall...

David (linux) against goliath (M$)

Hmm history said that David won, maybe we will do to ??

I know that the DoJ is impotent in general regarding Microsoft, but we can not abandon hope. We need to make noise and alot of it. I did send the DoJ an email. I hope the rest of you do as well.

askdoj@usdoj.gov

Let's bombard them with email.
We can also blog about it, and get the word out.
We/I can also email Microsoft and let them know about how we feel and our actions. I fully intend to do that as well.

Wow, you really don't like them do You

From words to actions in about a minute, very impressive.

I think the word will spread out quite quickly i guess, such news always spread out fast especially if it is the evil one on the stake

P.S. We can't forget that Microsoft isn't completely evil, there are normal people like You or me that just have to obey their masters (just like in an army, millions have to suffer because of a few people).

What gave you the impression that I don't like Microsoft?
I did send an email to Microsoft. Here it is.

I have another issue not listed

What is the subject of your comment or question?
Not adhering to the GPL

Please provide a detailed description of your issue or question along with any error messages so we may assist you. Do not include any additional personal information when submitting this feedback.
It has come to my attention that Microsoft has lifted code from an open source project, ImageMaster and not adhered to the GPL in which it was licensed under (GPLv2) GNU General Public License v2.0 - GNU Project - Free Software Foundation (FSF)
Under the GPL it states the original source code must be included and must be made available, and that the original author must be given credit. Neither of which occurred. I have already emailed the DoJ and asked them to look into the matter.

Hmmm, i wouldn't be so hasty about that, i am not sure it has been confirmed, i guess it is best to leave it with Linux Foundation, they will look into that matter

I already emailed FSF, DoJ and Microsoft. Now we'll just have to wait and see.
