To keep things clear that'd be under the KDE43 repos,not factory,right?

I'm not sure.
kde43 is a likely candidate, but it's not there ATM and I'm not sure if it ever will be.
And there is too much happening with the development of 11.2 and the setting of a new repo structure.

I suspect kde43 will go the same way as kde42.

As far as I can see, the best approach now to use a reliable kde4.3.* on 11.1 is to use either the kde43 or perhaps even better the kde4 stable desktop

I've just fired up "install software" and it looks like KDE4.3.3 is now in the KDE 4.3.x repo.

Updating now.

Installing right now. Was hoping to see phonon updates, so that we can finally use amarok's equalizer, but not yet.

I'll get back with first impressions.

A word of warning though,

If you update using the "Package-> All packages-> Update if newer version is available" menu in the yast software management module it'll also pull in some X11 (I seem to recall) updates that'll break the nvidia driver.

Re-running the installer from runlevel3 fixed it fairly easily though.
