Strange, I just deleted the .mozilla folder and completely re-installed all mozilla packages and flash player, it's still crashing.
Only youtube though, dailymotion fullscreen works fine for example. |

"Organize Bookmarks" crashes FF 3.5 as soon as I try to do anything with it - but I've seen this before so I can't definitively pin it on FF 3.5. PITA as the page rendering flys in comparison to FF 3.0. -- Will Honea |

Just a little update, found a solution for my problem here.
Adding this line to /usr/lib/firefox/firefox.sh fixed it. Code:
export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libGL.so.1 |

But I can wait until I see it in updates.

Exactly! When will Firefox 3.5 appear as a normal update?

I tried it and the browser also crashed for me if I clicked the HD icon at youtube. It also had the busy cursor bouncing along for 35 seconds every time I opened the browser. That annoyed the hell out of me.
Reverted back to 3.0.11 |

I am having a repeat of an issue I had a year ago with Firefox 3.0 font rendering in KDE3 in OpenSUSE 11.0 x86_64. I started a thread "Firefox 3 font rendering in KDE3". The issue was that fonts looked very thin in Firefox 3. The solution was to use gnome-appearance-properties to set font rendering as "slight" then start the gnome-settings-daemon on startup of KDE3. I just updated Firefox 3.0.11 to 3.5 using the Build Service and Firefox 3.5 has thin fonts. I uninstalled 3.5, reinstalled 3.0.11 and the fonts look normal again. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to make the fonts in Firefox 3.5 look "fatter"?
