Even with Beta 2 i failed to see any problems
KDE is becoming one of the greatest desktop environments.
I rarely get any crashes, it's really rock solid right now, and it doesn't even take much memory

I guess there will be no more reasons to not using it and dump the oldie KDE 3.5

Has anyone else noticed that Milestone 3 is available at software.opensuse.org/developer?

I downloaded it and installed it Saturday. Grub still lists it as Milestone 2 but it seems to have all the pkgs that are currently in the factory/oss repo. The link to the release notes returns a 404 error so maybe it's a misprint.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the KDE 4.3 RC1 and Milestone 3 on the 30th.

There already is Milestone 3 and to get the KDE 4.3 RC1 you just have to add appropriate repositories (if i'm correct then oss should be fine as it gets KDE packages from their Factory OSB service?).

One thing i'd like to see is the inclusion of KDE 4.4 in openSUSE 11.2

Seeing how stable 4.3 Beta is and realizing that we will miss 4.4 only by two or three months i will miss "official" support for it but hell, thanks to OBS we won't have to wait for it till the next release

Which in openSUSE lingo means up to a few days.

It will happen. I'm not aware of anything particularly holding it up. Just be patient. It's a good idea if you are a less experienced user to wait for others with more experience to report their findings before you just update it.
