Updated and a little buggy on Plasma Desktop. I had configured different wallpaper on 4 desktops (Default Containment) It now show just one wall on all 4 desktops, but if you zoom out to view all 4, they all show different. And I can't switch back to Plain Desktop without toolbox - Plasma freezes, close box asks to term with crash? OK = crash - Blank screen - Ctrl-Alt-Back
To login

Otherwise. OK.

OK. I have managed to recover the initial plasma mess without any special intervention, just few 3 fingered salutes of the Backspace kind and a reboot. I think the secret sometimes with these updates, is don't have too much user config over and above the default 'aya' theme.

Other than that folks, you should be good to go.

Thumbs down Re: KDE4.3 RC1 - Get ready for It. 30 June 09'

I tried new KDE a moment ago and I must say one thing: it's slow as always and it don't have too many functions. I think that I am stuck with good old KDE 3.5.10 forever.

Still no packages for Factory. Not in factory repo. not in KDE4 repo. Updating main machine right now.

Ok, maybe my PC is old (Pentium III 950, 384 Ram, GeForce 3Ti200) but when i run KDE3 with Compiz and Superkaramba it runs way faster than KDE4. I'm not saying that KDE4 isn't good but it isn't good for my PC .
