Looks nice, it's my replacement for Firefox now.
However, I still use Konqueror as my main browser, since it's even faster than Opera 10 and has some features that I don't want to miss

Great to see that Opera is finally getting some of the attention it deserves.

Currently i'm on an unreliable connection so Turbo is coming in really, really handy.

AFAIK there have been 64bit QT4 builds in the past. It would not surprise me if they would become available again before final.
It would certainly be stupid of Opera not to offer them.

I may have found a solution for that. Go to site preferences when on this site and delete all cookies. Then set Opera to delete any new cookies on close. That should allow you to always log in.
(BtW is there any reason why it's not possible to stay logged in after closing the browser? This is the only forum i know of without some sort of session management)

This has been a big request from Opera users, oft repeated on Opera's forums and in bug reports/feature requests. The only 64-bit qt4 build I know of was for a development build of 9.5 last year. They have provided QT4 32-bit builds in the past more frequently.

I think the reason they haven't provided one may come down to priorities; at least once a year they come out with a major new version of their browser so I'm sure a lot of development time is focused on that. I am completely ignorant of the changes required to switch from QT3 to QT4 but I imagine if it is a difficult process, it was probably pushed to the bottom of the list. If it isn't that difficult, it could come down to laziness; I'm sure the real answer lies in between the two extremes though.

This would be true, if there wouldn't have been a 32-bit QT4 version. The question was asked in the opera fora many times, never seen a real answer to it. I must say I haven't been following these discussions lately, I just visit opera.com for info and get the latest version directly via ftp.opera.com

No Opera for x86_64 GCC4/QT4? - Opera for UNIX - Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD - Opera Community

Found this forum topic, and it looks like QT4 64-bit builds are "just around the corner". The poster mentions they have some internal builds, but they've been experiencing some bugs which have delayed release.

There's indication that a 64-bit QT4 build will be available for the final 10.00 release.

Yes they are, just click on the link

I have written an article for the USA Linux User Group about Opera 10 and what I am thinking about it. I tested Opera 10 with several Operating Systems. Screenshots are taken from Opera 10 64bit QT4 System openSUSE 11.1
