Red Hat News | Red Hat Challenges Microsoft Lock-in and Seeks Open Competition in*Switzerland

"In a brief filed yesterday with Swiss Federal Administration Court, Red Hat and other concerned companies requested that the court reverse the agency decisions and hold a public bidding process. Default Re: Red Hat Challenges Microsoft Lock-in...

Govt departments around the world pay millions of dollars to MS. MS has a division to lobby only the Govt departments in various countries. They sometimes come up with free offers to Govt organization to lay the trap for future revenues. I have come across more than a dozen incidents like that in the past.

Exclamation Re: Red Hat Challenges Microsoft Lock-in...

I have no link at the time in English:

But there are nice news: The federal administration court stopped the Microsoft-deal "super"-provisional, thats really good, then the for this the court has to decide:

1. Does it exist danger of badly damage Open Source? ->Yes

2. Is the demand versus MS stand to gain? ->Yes

The cash is stopped, the tree years deal at the time frozen...

Sorry, its not in English, if someone can find one in English, please post it...
