Is there any possibility of making easier to configure pam_csync? I can configure csync and use login/logout scripts, but thats not convient. pam_csync configs should be added to the User Yast Module.

I am having a similar problem to John, what should be done?
Thanks, HK |

Most of what needs to be done is out side of my skill set. There is no documentation as too how too activate pam_csync. Tried pam-config -a --csync after looking thru the pam-config man pages. Command errors out. And personally, thats not convient as it requires command line. OpenSuSE team needs to add pam_csync to the Yast User Module so that an Admistartor or Power User can enable the pam_csync functionality globaly, and configure the target server settings on a Global or Per User basis.
As I said, its outside of my skill set. But needs to be done. And OpenSuSE is large enough to give CSYSNC the user boost they need to become much larger. John |

I know, I already have a post in the Install/Login thread. And no one is responding. It seems that no one really knows how to work with PAM and CSYNC. Considering its new tech, not really surprising. But it Linux wants to compete with MS in the corp world, Roaming Profiles will be a must. And CSYNC is the key too it.
I am hoping someone at Novell or OpenSuSE sees this and the light bulb turns on. Sadly, this is my only thread getting responces... :-( Thanks, John |
