Now get me the repo info we need to replace that broken Packman repo
opps -sorry

as su

zypper rr 2

I had to edit the post above as I see you already have another packman repo
It’s the #2 that is the problem though

AHHA! You’re a GENIUS! and now I feel like a complete and utter dweeb for the time being… Fixed!
Thank You from the bottom of my old cruddy shoes!

This begs the question of how in the world did it get broken in the first place?
I suspect it was when I was trying to install something that didn’t want to fit…maybe trying to do something impossible with wine (which i have never gotten to work)
in any event I do thank you as much as thanks can happen and thanks for being awake at this early hour… (Well, not so early now, but for me it’s EARLY! I’m an old night owl. )

Not your fault
The repo is down. Just like a website can be down, inaccessible…- Does that make sense to you. SO the updater was throwing a wobbly with it.

Incidentally, I see you have been at the Oneclick codecs installer and it very kindly added duplicate repos for OSS and NON-OSS which you can remove.

happy to help

Well it’s good to know I didn’t screw myself for once. This old age stuff is way over rated and makes me forget more than i ever learned it seems. LOL

Thanks again.

Problem has returned… Now it’s a different id locking…

woops…my bad… I still had it open in the background… duh… I’m feeling like a regular Rhodes Scholar today… lol

I also have this problem, tried the zypper rr 2 but it did not work.

zypper lr -d

thank you in advance

@ benjaminosis

Dude with a list like that and you can’t figure this!!

zypper rr 2 (means remove repo number 2) which if the troublesome repo were number 2 it would have worked.

But in your case it should be

zypper rr 29

To add back a working packman

zypper ar -f http://packman.unixheads.com/suse/11.3/ packman

This is the second time you save my butt! Super noob here. Very thankfull!!

No problem - enjoy…
