OpenSuse Release Counter - a good idea?

You know, not every newcomer is taking a look at Distrowatch and why not put a small counter on the OpenSuse-Forum, the place where the heart of thze operating system pumps?

Ok, let my clarify what I ment to say:
I see the counter a million times a day and to put it in the forum is not so relevant for me (and it always kinda grabs my attention beeing so difrent green than the rest)
By "Distrowatch..." I ment everyware so we could spread this distro like a disease and use it to control the world... I mean for peopple to n joy

A think having a counter here makes perfect sense. At distrowatch, you'd have to really convince them. They'd probably hide behind a policy of something like, if we did that for openSUSE, then we'd have to do that for everyone else. Here at the forums makes sense.
