I agree. Having a security forum is a must. Security is one thing very few understand, and when it comes to security apps, it gets even more convoluted. AppArmor versus SELinux. YaST Firewall versus guarddog, or firewallbuilder, or other firewall utils. Understanding permissions, and so on.

but what part of that discussion is openSUSE dependent?

that is, since you can take your pick of apparmor, selinux, yast
firewall, guarddog, smooth wall, hardware firewall, nat router, strong
passwords, etc etc etc etc etc your security decisions are a site
specific Linux thing, not an openSUSE thing, even if you have already
chosen to use openSUSE, right?
