In everyday use, I use Krusader extensively (in fact, one of my 8 virtual desktops is dedicated to a permanently open instance of Krusader which I never close). Although I think it's simply irreplaceable, I get the impression that not many KDE users use it. Why do you think it's not more popular? Do you use it? What are the features of Krusader you appreciate the most?

And, used the original Norton Commander it is based on. Try it. |

I was impressed Krusader when i first came across it. It reminded me if the various early directory utilities on the amiga.
One of the best features I've not see added in the latest version is the rename using metafile information, loved getting my fonts renamed to the longer version, have a collection in and 8.3 form from a cd.. Hopefully this will return, (yeah i know that it uses krename for that) There are features i like from dolphin and krusader that i wish were all in one. |
