who else hates Dolphin?

Perhaps you should reserve judgement for a later time. What version of kde4 are you using. 4.3.2?

I didn't like it since I saw it, and it's not growing on my like I thought

You can of course make K default if you prefer.
Though it's not quite like K of old from kde3.

... which also can be configured to be the default file manager in KDE4 if you really want to.

Yeh not a big fan of dolphin, Konqueror had some useful extensions I liked from third parties.
I miss metabar.
I also miss customizable backgrounds too.
It seems so drab, thats why I still use nautilus as it offers custom browser backgrounds.

I guess it's a matter of whatever 'floats your boat'. We ain't all going to like the same things.

I don't hate Dolphin; I just prefer Konqueror - so that is set as my preference in just the same way as lots of other things are set as my preference.
