I tried Dolphin and don't like it. I still use Konqueror.

Since KDE4.3, when Dolphin tabs were saved from session to session, I've been happy with it. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks., UK. E-mail: newsman not newsboy "I wear the cheese. I love the choice. For some operations I use konqueror, for others Dolphin, just as it comes. I do a lot of copying over the internet. One of my habits is to have konqueror for the remote files, dolphin for local files and folders.

+1 for Dolphin. At last a simple file manager without the bloat and features I will never use

Can't say I like it, for now. It'll probably improve in time (or die)

I also don't like the 'Dolphinization' of Konqueror. Someone got the bright idea that Nautilus was the bees knees so of course KDE needed a version. I installed Thunar, that's what I'm using now. |

What for?
It may be that you have a particular set of uses which make Dolphin preferable for you. I keep several different screwdrivers for different jobs. That doesn't make one better overall than another. |

Nautilus works for me ever since it got tabs in Gnome 2.26. I used to use KDE3 Konqueror. Video thumbnailing, network browsing and scripts-on-the-menu are pretty cool features for me.
