I really don't think this is funny.

Ubooboo has almost reached a critical mass where it might become the Microsoft of Linux. Who wants a Linux version of Microsoft? It's bad enough I have to talk to Debian fanatics every other day who constanty complain about Ubuntu (Ubooboo to me).

D_amn.... if the Debian fanatics have given up the crusade against rpms... it might be the end of the world as we know it.

But imagine, if it had said "Windows, brought to you by Canonical", the lawsuits would be flying now. At least Linux people have a sense of humour.

I agree it wasn't funny (ha ha). IIRC, Microsoft is successful and sells Windows for money. Ubuntu is available for free. So you don't like success?

No... I just like to fight with the Ubooboo community because it's getting worse than the Gentoo fanbois Crusade. At least Gentoo fanatics have a reason to brag if they can setup and live by a stage 1 install. Thank God that the real Gentoo freaks keep it a secret that they feed their egos by installing Gentoo on Macs.

The Ubooboo movement is starting to turn into an Apple like crusade that just doesn't have the hardware or fruit to back up it's bluster. Shuttleboy might be cool... but he's still not as cool as Steve Jobbs.

The Ubuntu movement, such as it is, is like a b_astard child of Microsoft and Apple pair bonded through an international plot to drive us all insane. I'm surprised the Irish haven't tried to claim responsibility for Ubooboo. I suppose we can blame the Dutch. That's the ticket we'll blame the Dutch for Ubooboo! If that doesn't work... then it has to be the fault of secret research being performed at the United Nations secret base in the Antarctic.
