You could consider just purchasing the Enterprise Products and or openSUSE. Many of us do.

One thing I do every year (typically in the March/April timeframe) is make of list of the free opensource software products that I use a lot, and then I go to their web sites, and see what sort of contributions they will accept, and contribute some money. Not all of them will accept money. Some only accept contributions such as testing and documentation support.

If you want to contribute financially, why not buy 11.2 boxed when it comes out?
