Default how to install/run Putty on SuSe, where is that mkfile?

    Hi,
Actually just started using suse 2nd day after founding that it rated as #1 for laptop.
But how I can make putty work on it, I read a lot of guru's advices but still need a,b,c step if possible.

I did download gzip, created folder putty-0.60/unix , but I can't use mkfile(s) on this, or what else steps I can do to start it either thru GNOME or CL?
    HTML Code:
    inux-jeh8:/home/dainova/Downloads/putty-0.60/unix # uname -a
    Linux linux-jeh8.site 2.6.37.1-1.2-default #1 SMP 2011-02-21 10:34:10 +0100 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I do of course not know why you need putty since all putty functionality is
integrated in every linux by design, but if you want to use her is the rpm
    http://software.opensuse.org/ymp/hom....4&query=putty
for 11.4 (provided you use openSUSE 11.4).

Are you aware that you don't really need putty on linux?

On linux any terminal (konsole in kde) can do what putty does, in konsole you would type:

    ssh -l username address-of-computer-to-connect-to

There are various other parameters to the ssh command, type ssh --help to look at them

Assuming you have packman in your repos, add that using YaST's repository
    management.
